However a solution has, I hope, been found. I go to eBay and find a delightful little 2hp Chinese motor. After a few emails it appears to be on its way to Okinawa.

Missed the Lions, travelling on TGV from wet windy rainy Brittany to wet windy rainy London. The outboard looks unbeatable at that price – must be a catch surely. Two strokes banned in UK now, maybe that is the catch. Still, since it seems that Europe will not be having summers anymore, it does not matter v much.
I was using the gripper thing following the last slicing. Very annoying. Somehow the the finger trailed and was dealt with.
