Saturday afternoon we held a concert at the university. It was an evening of J.S.Bach, the ancestor of Barbara Bach, who is Ringo Starr’s wife.
It was exquisite. There were two fiddles, a viola, a cello, a harpsichord, which I learnt is called cembalo in Japanese and the flute of my good friend Kei Toguchi. They essentially play greatest hits and once again it was exquisite. Kei san plays this:

Did you know that there are no less than 3 performance harpsichords for hire in Okinawa? Black, pink or dayglo orange.
500 people packed the auditorium. Good times.
Then to the Smugglers for a different sort of music.

Mary and Tara are the world’s best flute players who have doctorates in quantum physics, well almost.
I get home at 1:30, which turns out to be the perfect time to watch Quade Cooper destroy Australia. Pretty good day all in all.
Bit disturbed by (a) red boots, (b) ashtray containing white powder. Slow down man.
Yes, back of cupboard boots probably a mistake. White powder certainly cigarette generated as the are smoke openly in bars, restaurants in these parts. But what do I know?
